Wastewater Treatment

The City of Nederland Wastewater Treatment Plant is located along Hardy Avenue. The plant is capable of treating 26 million gallons of wastewater/sewage daily, but the average flow is approximately 2.0 million gallons daily. In a year, the plant treats approximately 1.1 billion gallons of wastewater. All of the operations of this plant are under the strict monitoring of applicable state and federal agencies.
