Message from Chief of Police - Rod Carroll
On Behalf of the men and women of the Nederland Police Department, I would like to personally welcome you to the website of the Nederland Police Department.
The men and women of the Nederland Police Department are dedicated, well trained professionals who serve our community day and night, often placing themselves in harm’s way to protect this great community. I am proud of our sworn officers and civilian support staff that serve diligently with servant hearts and give of themselves daily to protect and serve our families.

To Build and Maintain Effective Partnerships
To Improve the Overall Quality of Life in our Community
We would be unable to accomplish our task without the support and partnerships that we have within our community. Our motto is “See it, Report it.” We must work together to make our community a safer place to raise our families and to conduct business. Members of the Nederland Police Department are committed to working with the community to solve problems and proactively address developing issues. We believe that positive interaction with community members and organizations will provide the best and most effective solutions to current and future problems.
