The City of Nederland and Nederland Rotary’s Hooked on Fishing, Not on Drugs Fishing Derby

Annually Held in February

Each year the Rotary Club provides the citizens of Nederland and
surrounding communities an Opportunity to encourage children to
become involved in positive activities like fishing, the Rotary Club
provides a stocking of Rainbow Trout at Doornbos Pond! This is a
day of fun, fellowship, and fish! Win prizes for biggest catch,
smallest fish, and more!

First Baptist Church sponsored Easter Egg Festival

Spring Time is Here

Every year First Baptist Church Nederland host its annual Spring Time Easter Egg Festival, this festival is held at the softball field and is the kickoff to Spring! Open to the community, bring the kids out to hunt eggs and play! So keep an eye out on the cities website event ticker for the date of this wonderful event!

Time for Spring Cleaning!!!!

Sign up your team to Clean it Like You Mean It!  This event is a city wide clean up to keep our city looking its best!  Followed with a community picnic, sign up your team or business today!

4th of July Fireworks Extravaganza

4th of July Celebration, come join us as for a celebration in the park for an amazing FIREWORKS display set to music!  There will also be lots of food and fun for the entire family!

National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer, better places to live. Join our Police and Fire Departments on Historic Boston Avenue for lots of family fun!

Annually Held First Weekend in December

City of Nederland's Annual Christmas Celebration will be held on the cities historic Boston Avenue! Pony rides, petting zoo, arts and crafts for kids all ages.  Participate in our snowflake hunt and win prizes, you will also have the opportunity to see the annual lighting of Tex Ritter Park! This wonderful event starts at 1pm!
