TRAILER PARK BOARD OF APPEALS

NOTICE is hereby given of a meeting of the Trailer Park Board of Appeals to be held Tuesday, July 10, 2007, at 5:00 p.m. at the City of Nederland D. Bob Henson Office Building, 1903 Atlanta, Nederland, Texas for the purpose of considering the following agenda items.

  1. CALL MEETING TO ORDER

  2. APPROVE MINUTES OF PREVIOUS MEETING

  3. VARIANCES
  4. On September 4, 2006, the Chief Building Official issued a letter to property owners living in travel trailers as a result of property damage caused by Hurricane Rita. Property owners were advised that the temporary time extension allowing citizens to live in a trailer on their property during the reconstruction of their damaged residence would expire on September 20, 2006. After this date, an extension of time for a hardship variance would require application and review by the Trailer Board of Appeals.

    Review and consider action approving an extension of the variance allowing Clifford Taylor, to live in a travel trailer on his property located at 707 S. 9th Street, described as Lot 9, Block 5, Midway Addition, while he repairs his home due to damage caused by Hurricane Rita.

    Review and consider action approving an extension of the variance allowing Terry and Melissa Marchand, to live in a travel trailer on their property located at 143 Hilldale Drive, described as Lot 12, Block 2, Hillcrest Terrace Addition, while they repair their home due to damage caused by Hurricane Rita.

    Review and consider action approving an extension of the variance allowing Michael and Patti Smith, to live in a travel trailer on their property located at 124 S. 16th Street, described as Lot 6, M. Sierks Addition, while they repair their home due to damage caused by Hurricane Rita.

    Review and consider action approving an extension of the variance allowing T.J. and Lynne Parker to live in a travel trailer on their property located at 802 Avenue E described as Lot 36, Block 1, Midway Addition, while they rebuild their home due to damage caused by Hurricane Rita.

    Review and consider action approving an extension of the variance allowing Joseph McMains to live in a travel trailer on his property located at 2216 Avenue B, described as Lot 15, Block 6, Hillcrest 1st Addition while he repairs his home due to damage caused by Hurricane Rita.

    Review and consider action approving an extension of the variance allowing Pastor C. Dean Jacobs, to live in a travel trailer on the church property located at 728 Boston Avenue, described as Lots 2 and 3, Block 6, Haizlip Addition, while he repairs Grace Baptist Church and the pastor's apartment which were damaged by Hurricane Rita.
