ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS

NOTICE is hereby given of a meeting of the Zoning Board of Appeals to be held on Tuesday, August 22, 2006, at 5:00 p.m. at the City of Nederland D. Bob Henson Office Building, 1903 Atlanta, Nederland, Texas for the purpose of considering the following agenda item.

  1. CALL MEETING TO ORDER
     
  2. APPROVE THE MINUTES OF PREVIOUS MEETING
     
  3. VARIANCES

    Consider action approving a variance for Harry Wiltz Sr., owner of the property located at 720 Pirates' Cove, described as Lot 1, Pirates' Cove Addition, requesting a 10' variance to the 25' front setback requirement to build a new home.

    Consider action approving a variance for Lester Champagne, owner of the property located at 1715 N. 34th Street, described as Lot 8, Block 2, Ridge Crest Addition, requesting a 2' variance to the 14' ceiling height requirement on an accessory building.

    Consider action approving a variance for Charles English, owner of the property located at 2111 Helena, described as Lot 3, Block 3, Nederland Terrace Addition, requesting a 5' variance to the 5' side building setback requirement to rebuild his carport which was destroyed by Hurricane Rita.

    Consider action approving a variance for Michael Cloud, owner of the property located at 1024 S. 15th Street, described as Lot 2, Block 2, Wagner 4 Proposed Addition, requesting a 5' variance to the 5' side building setback requirement to rebuild his carport which was destroyed by Hurricane Rita.
