ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS
Notice is hereby given of a meeting of the Zoning Board of Appeals to be held Tuesday, March 9,
2004, at 5:30 p.m. at the City of Nederland Office Building, 1400 Boston Avenue, Nederland, Texas for
the purpose of considering the following agenda items.
CALL MEETING TO ORDER
Consider action authorizing a variance, requested by Megas Enterprises, Inc., owner of the
property located at 2828 Highway 365, described as Lot 9, Block 4, Tract 7, Hillcrest Second Acres,
to place a 352' building 3' off of the east property line and approximately 6" off of the front
property line in lieu of the 30' front building setback requirement.
Consider action authorizing a variance, requested by Ed Hughes, owner of the property located at
2750 Nederland Avenue, described as Block A, Tract 2, Youmans 2nd Addition, to encroach
20' into the 30' building setback line with an addition to the front of the building.
Consider action authorizing a variance, requested by David K. Ray, 1824 Gary Avenue, described as
Lot 9, Block 1, West Side Addition, to encroach 8' into the 20' rear yard requirement.
Consider action authorizing a variance, requested by Loye Kemp, 307 2nd Street, described as Lot
10 & Adj. 1/2 of Lot 11, Block 4, John Staffen Addition, to encroach 11.4' into the 20' rear yard with
a new house.
