Trash Bash Team Signup


MISSION:

To celebrate "Keep America Beautiful" month, the City of Nederland will hold the first annual TRASH BASH event, a city-wide clean-up effort to rid Nederland neighborhoods, streets, rights of ways, drainage easements, parks, and other public spaces of litter and eye sores.

All citizens, social organizations, civic groups, school associations, employee groups, scout troops, and church groups are invited to participate in this event to help clean up the community from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m., Saturday, April 17th. The City asks that interested parties organize as teams on the City's website (www.ci.nederland.tx.us). Trash bags, gloves, t-shirts, and maps with areas of assignment will be made available at a pre-event meeting on Thursday, April 15th from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Nederland Recreation Center. On April 17th, teams will meet at their designated street, park, or area to clean-up their assigned/selected area. Following the event, all participants are invited to Doornbos Park to enjoy activities, refreshments, and food.
